“There has never been a more magical realm in human history, such as Transylvania. Isolated over the centuries, wrapped in myths and legends, but never revealing himself, surrounding fantastic beings whose names only a month could know. A latent universe for the human tribe, but alive like the wind through the leaves. Just a few phases ago, he decided to reveal to the rest of the world a powerful wizard, who traveled through space and time. It opens the Transylvanian gates for the first time, in a summer, releasing its magic for four days and nights, for all those who travel on earth, from afar. That’s when the Untold legend began, forced to reappear every year, on the same night, each time revealing more of its fantastic universe. A world of wonderful diversity, under the leadership of the Wizard and his loyal servant, a legendary dragon, called by the stars and bearer of the Truth. The realm in which the oracles and weavers of time change the laws of time, in which the druids and partial creatures of animal plants protect the forests. And the old teachers of alchemy and their students are constantly transforming the elements. The place where ancient celestial beings, inventors and architects, seek knowledge beyond the stars. And the priests of nature, surrounded by nymphs, the mythical chimera and the spirits of nature, live in a perpetual connection. Above all, swearing a covenant to the mighty wizard, the tribe of werewolves, warriors of royal relatives, offering them the protection of the land beyond the forest. Every year, for these four days and nights, the Transylvanian country, enriched with more and more magic, opens its magical gates to all those who are thirsty to know its secrets. Welcome to Untold! ”
The largest electronic music festival in Romania, Untold, takes place this year in Cluj-Napoca between September 9 and 12.
The first edition of the festival took place in 2015, when the city of Cluj-Napoca was designated the European Youth Capital. Following the great success it enjoyed, the festival received the “Best Major Festival” award given at the European Festival Awards 2015 gala, which took place in the Netherlands.
This first edition also attracted the public’s attention thanks to the “Pay with blood” campaign, through which blood donors received free tickets to the festival. This campaign pointed out in an original way that the place of the festival, Transylvania, is also the place of vampires and Dracula.
This year, in its sixth edition, which was postponed since last year due to the covid pandemic, the festival has the slogan “Together we magic”.
For this edition, it is estimated that there will be 300,000 spectators who will participate in the four days of the festival, which will come from about 100 countries.
